Chelsea Times, a three piece band from Kyoto, are pure power pop delight with chugging guitars building to sing-along choruses and foot-stomping crescendos. Chelsea Times are signed to K.O.G.A Records, right where they belong beside other pop greats like the Playmates and the Automatics.
Especially good melodies and vocals help distinguish the band from imitators. With this said however, their songwriting still lacks a certain depth, and all their songs could sound the same to the ears of a less-devoted fan. But for fans of bouncy, power pop, no song of Chelsea Times will ever let you down.
