Former bassist for the band Bridge, Kaji Hideki has been busy ever since that band's demise, releasing solo albums of pure guitar pop bliss. Whereas others from the Shibuya-kei group drew inspiration from France, Kaji has been drawn to Sweden, and the Swedish pop scene, and whereas others are content to weave simple songs in the naive pop vein, Kaji has continued to grow and incorporated increasingly complex instrumentation into his work(check the sweeping strings on the August E.P.).
