A more muscular, indie rock/pop version of the Shibuya-kei sound, but still with all the sampling and looping tom-foolery pioneered by Flipper's Guitar, and more fully elaborated on by Cornelius.
You can also hears bit of International Pop in their music, as well as French Pop. Their work is also very close at times to that of the band Cubismo Grafico or other electro-pop bands like Hi-Posi.
They are one of the more successful bands to come out of Japan in a while, and have had the press fawning over them.
