Slowcamp is from the Nagoya indie rock scene. In their own words, they offer a sort of dub, guitar pop sound. But their first album leans more towards guitar pop than "dub" to my ears at least, with simple straight-forward, mellow arranging and none of the harder rhythmic interplay we usually think about when you hear "dub". Their aspirations are definitely in that area though. Check out their new albums to see if they can successfully meld these two disparate styles.
