Yukari Fresh's recent work is an extension, an evolution of the Shibuya-kei sound, pioneered by Flipper's Guitar, and more fully elaborated on by Cornelius. You can also hear bits of International Pop in her music, as well as French Pop. Her recent work is also very close to that of the bands Plus-Tech Squeeze Box and Cubismo Grafico.
The fundamental components of her music are the interplay between the sampling and loops(usually light and bubbly things), which provide the backing for her vocals.
